Christmas Eve

How to infuse some festivity to the Christmas table ? Fold up tree napkins, sprinkle some sugar powder over the desserts and light up some candles. For the record, the dish on the left is stewed wheat with dry plums, raisins, walnuts, tahin, honey, lemon peel, a bit of flour and sugar powder. The dish on the right is called tikvenik – a pastry made of folded sheets of pastry with pumpkin, walnuts, sugar and butter.
