There is plenty that you can see in Geneva – one of the most expensive city in the world and the second most populous one in Switzerland. Probably the first definition is also the reason that we could not see plenty of people in the streets. Or maybe it was due to the timing that we chose for our short trip to the small federal republic in the Alps.
I don’t want to list all the famous touristic sites like Jet d’Eau, the Palace of Nations, CERN, the various museums of Swiss watches, etc. I will just stick to my philosophy of travelling – that the beautiful face of every place around the world is revealed with every small detail of it. Dive in the picturesque parks of the city, dig in the various neighbourhoods – for example Carouge, where you can find plenty of fine restaurants and bars, and check out what the weather has to offer you.
