We got in Nyon actually by chance, rather than thanks to a pre-planned trip. But it was definitely worth it. It offers the best view to the Alps and to the Mont Blanc. You can get quickly and easily to the view spot by walking in the tiny cobbled streets that will take you from the harbour straight to the square of the Swiss town. You will be able to reach it in no more than 15 minutes – depending on the number of photos you want to take on your way. And trust me – plenty of the sceneries that will reveal in front of you will deserve your attention.
The Nyon part in Roman history passes like a string through the town – it has its own forum, basilica and amphitheater, as well as statues of great Roman emperors. However, the pulse of the town is young and there are plenty of nice restaurants and cafes where you can recharge for your next journey.
